PRECAUTIONS TO BE OBSERVED
COUNTERTOPS
Clean all spills immediately; dyes and other harsh chemicals can stain or alter the color of the coating. Avoid using acidic and abrasive cleaners to clean your newly refinished countertops. Once your countertop has been refinished, it should be easily cleaned with soap and water. Do not use any chemical sealant products, as they will void this warranty. Avoid placing skillets, crockpots, or other hot items directly on to refinished surface, always use a trivet or cutting board to protect your refinished surface. Do not cut directly on newly refinished surfaces, always use a cutting board.
CABINETS
Once your cabinets are coated, they should be cleaned with a clean and damp cloth. Clean one small area at a time and immediately wipe dry to avoid moisture damage. In areas that experience excessive humidity, such as bathrooms, be conscious of moisture build-up that, if not wiped off, can damage the cabinets finish. NEVER use acidic or abrasive cleaners on your finished cabinets.
TILE/FIBERGLASS
After each use of your fiberglass tub/shower, it should be wiped dry. Same goes for tile walls. Water dripping from leaky faucets or shower heads can damage finishes and void warranty. Avoid leaving bottles, cans, sponges, soaps or any item that might trap water or dampness on finished surfaces. Newly finished surfaces should be cleaned with mild soaps and a non-abrasive sponge. Acidic and abrasive cleaners can damage newly finished surfaces and will void warranty. Simple Green is the recommended cleaner for tiles and showers.
